Active Villages meeting
May 12, 2011WEDNESDAY 18TH MAY 2011
AT 18:00
IN MEMBURY SCHOOL
The Consultation Co-ordinator for Active Villages Jane Sharp of LED (Leisure East Devon) will be holding a consultation meeting to appraise projects with the potential to designate funding from Sport England.
There is potential funding available for the school and the whole community and this meeting is for us all to bring suggestions, ideas and future plans for consideration.
The funding is not as direct as just buying equipment but to start long term sporting activities within the community by helping with new clubs, premises and instructors.
(Street dance, yoga, multi sports, cricket, netball, cycling, basketball, pilates, zumba)
Any queries before the event Jane Sharp 01404 814317 or
Sam Dare 01404 881580
Everyone welcome and refreshments available

Diary of events updated for 2011
November 29, 2010We’ve updated the diary of events to show the new schedule – it can be found by going to the Diary item on the black menu strip above, and on the dropdown clicking Diary Of Events or by clicking here.
The diary now shows parish council, AGM and annual parish meeting times and dates, cutoff points for submission to the Membury Mercury (including the upcoming spring centenary edition) and some ever popular plays, outings and parties.
If you have any updates, please let David Dodd know.

Parish council minutes updated
October 31, 2010David has scanned some past parish council minutes and we’ve stored them on this site as PDF files which is Adobe’s read-only format. Most computers have Adobe Reader (which used to be called Adobe Acrobat) already installed, but if you don’t you can get it from here:
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ (opens in new window)
To get to the minutes, look for the ‘Parish Council’ link above, hover your mouse on it and you’ll see a submenu drop down – one of the items is ‘Minutes and Agendas’ – click it!
